About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, highly motivated Qualified Electrician to join our expanding property maintenance team. Operating across Bracknell and surrounding towns, you will be the face of our electrical division-carrying out everything from 5-year cyclical testing and inspections (EICRs) to responsive repairs, void turnarounds, and planned upgrades (such as kitchens, bathrooms, and heating systems).
Our residents are at the heart of what we do. We are looking for an individual with a strong "can-do" attitude who can deliver efficient technical solutions while maintaining an excellent, friendly customer service standard.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Inspection: Carry out 5-year cyclical testing, inspection, and certification across occupied and void social housing properties.
Maintenance & Upgrades: Deliver responsive electrical repairs and support planned modernization works, including kitchen/bathroom rewires, consumer unit upgrades, and communal lighting.
Compliance & Certification: Accurately complete digital test certificates (e.g., NICEIC or similar job-logging systems) via a company tablet.
Safety & Standards: Ensure all works are completed safely, in strict compliance with the 18th Edition regulations and best building maintenance practices.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: You must be a fully qualified electrician holding a valid 18th Edition wiring regulations certificate (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds equivalent is required, AM2/Gold Card is highly desirable).
Sector Experience: Proven experience working in a domestic maintenance environment. Previous experience within social housing, housing associations, or local authority contracts is a massive advantage.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using tablets/mobiles for digital certification and managing your daily schedule.
Licence & Tools: A full UK Driving Licence is essential. You must possess your own hand and everyday power tools (specialist kit is provided).
