Electrician

Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to work on a water treatment site. This role involves installation, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems within a highly regulated environment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) card and have experience working on water or utility infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on water treatment equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently
• Work on control panels, motors, pumps, and associated systems
• Ensure all work is completed in line with site safety procedures and industry standards
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Liaise with site supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Maintain accurate records of work completed

Requirements:

• Valid ECS/CSCS card
• EUSR card (essential)
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Proven experience working on water treatment or utility sites (preferred)
• Strong understanding of health & safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

• Experience with PLC systems or instrumentation
• IPAF certification
• Confined Space training
