Location: Bedford – covering a 50-mile radius

Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 per annum

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, using their own initiative and delivering a high standard of electrical work across a range of projects.

The role will involve working from electrical drawings and specifications, with projects generally located within a 50-mile radius of Bedford.

Experience working with mechanical control panels would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation and maintenance work
• Work independently and use your own initiative
• Read and work from electrical drawings and specifications
• Install, wire and work on mechanical control panels
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Follow relevant electrical regulations and company procedures
• Travel to customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius of Bedford
• Maintain a professional approach when working with customers and colleagues

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Previous experience working as an Electrician
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Mechanical control panel experience would be highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence
