Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a permanent role where no two days are the same?
We're recruiting on behalf of one of the South's leading housing providers for an experienced Electrician to join their Responsive Repairs Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a customer-focused organisation, delivering high-quality electrical repairs and installations across residential properties throughout the South.
The Role
- Carry out responsive electrical repairs and emergency call-outs.
- Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently.
- Undertake minor rewires and electrical upgrades.
- Replace accessories including sockets, switches and consumer units where required.
- Ensure all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working within occupied properties.
- Complete accurate job records using mobile technology.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota (approximately one week in every six).
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- AM2 qualification.
- Experience carrying out domestic electrical repairs and fault finding.
- Experience using NICEIC certification software or similar.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Experience working within social housing or residential maintenance.
- Knowledge of responsive repairs within occupied properties.
