Electrician / Solar PV Installer - Oxfordshire - Client Side -  Basic Salary up to £48,798 - 37 hrs pw - 37 days holiday (29 + 8 bank holidays) - Secure and flexible pension scheme.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrician / Solar PV Installer to join a well-established organisation delivering electrical and renewable energy projects across domestic and commercial properties.

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong Solar PV experience who is looking to work on a varied portfolio of renewable energy and electrical installation projects while developing their career within a growing sector.

The Role

• Installing, commissioning and maintaining domestic and commercial Solar PV systems
• Carrying out electrical energy storage system (battery) installations
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on Solar PV and electrical systems
• Completing electrical installations, rewires, remedial works and maintenance
• Inspection, testing and verification of electrical installations
• Ensuring all work complies with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations and health and safety legislation
• Participating in a standby call-out rota

Requirements

Applicants should have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• BPEC or City & Guilds qualifications in Solar PV and Electrical Energy Storage Systems
• Proven experience installing Solar PV systems within domestic and commercial environments
• Strong experience in electrical installation, fault finding, inspection, testing and rewiring
• Good working knowledge of BS7671 and current electrical regulations
• A recognised electrical apprenticeship
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable

• City & Guilds 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing
• NICEIC certification experience
• Experience measuring and specifying small electrical works
• A genuine interest in renewable energy and sustainability
