Senior Solar PV Electrician / Team Leader
📍 Location: Site based (Sevenoaks main hub)
💰 Salary: Up to £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits
🕒 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Solar PV Electrician / Team Leader to oversee the installation, maintenance, and delivery of renewable energy systems across a range of projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating across new build housing, commercial retrofit, large-scale energy efficiency upgrades, and high-end refurbishment projects. You will play a key role in delivering sustainable energy solutions including Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in renewable energy installations, with a strong focus on Solar PV systems
• Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical and renewable technologies
• Support preparation of RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
• Liaise with internal design teams regarding system specifications and project delivery
• Oversee site activities and ensure high standards of workmanship
• Maintain accurate daily records of progress, materials, and outstanding works

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong electrical background with relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (where applicable)
• Proven experience in Solar PV or renewable energy installations
• Experience with site delivery including surveys, material take-offs, and procurement
• Strong communication and leadership skills
