Electrician
TRS (Technical Recruitment Solutions)
Electricians – Fancy Getting Off the Tools... Without Actually Getting Off the Tools?
Not every electrical role needs to mean building sites, endless nights away or chasing unrealistic deadlines.
We're working with a specialist engineering business looking for an experienced electrician who enjoys fault finding, testing and solving problems.
You'll spend your time travelling between customer sites across London, carrying out maintenance, inspections and commissioning work on specialist electrical equipment. Installation work is becoming more common, but this is predominantly a service and maintenance position.
The sort of person we're looking for...
You're probably someone who:
- Holds C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing.
- Has an ECS Card.
- Enjoys fault finding more than first fix.
- Is happy working independently.
- Doesn't mind driving between sites.
What the job offers
- £40,000-£45,000 basic salary.
- Weekend overtime available.
- Annual bonus.
- 39-hour working week.
- Mobile role covering London.
- Very little staying away (typically less than 10 nights a year).
- 1 in 4 on-call rota after probation.
It's a replacement position rather than a start-up or project role, joining an established engineering team with long-standing customers.
