Job Description
We are looking for motivated, fully qualified Electricians to join our current team, working across all our contracts. As an Electrician with UKES Rail Ltd, you will support our supervisors and join a motivated team where people genuinely have your back and offer support whenever it is needed.
Our Electricians work alongside apprentices, so a willingness to support their training and development is essential.
Due to the nature of our working environment, there will be a requirement for Electricians to work night shifts and occasional weekends. These hours are paid at an enhanced rate.
Duties will include:
Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
PPM Works
Reactive Works
Remedial Works
Installation of containment
Installation of wiring systems
Inspection & Testing
Working collaboratively with other Electricians, apprentices and supervisors
Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely and to a high standard
Qualifications and Skills
C&G NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
Time served (preferred)
18th Edition
Experience in carrying out installation work
Experience in carrying out EICRs
2391 – Electrical Inspection & Testing or equivalent (experience essential, qualification preferred)
Experience in railway work (preferred)
Full clean UK driving licence (clean preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Electricians
Package
Up to £52,000 depending on experience
