Electricians

Astute's Power team are looking x2 Electricians on a contract basis to start immediately on paper mill project based in Kings Lynn.

Key skills

• Installation of cable ducts, containment systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
• Cable pulling, routing and dressing in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
• Cable termination, glanding and connection of electrical equipment and panels.
• Installation and connection of electrical systems within an operational paper mill environment.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and cable schedules.
• Carrying out electrical installation, testing and inspection works as required.
• Ensuring all electrical installations are completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Working safely around existing plant, machinery and live operational environments.
• Identifying and reporting any installation issues, defects or potential hazards to the site supervisor.
• Working closely with other trades, supervisors and site management to ensure work is completed efficiently and to programme.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area throughout the project.
• Following all site-specific health, safety and environmental procedures.
• Candidates must have previous experience working within a paper mill.
• Candidates must hold own hand tools and training in fall protection PPE.
