Summary NRL is seeking experienced Electrical Mates for a project based in Beckton. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for qualified tradespeople with the right certifications who want to work on an important infrastructure site.
Salary
- Umbrella rates: £23.76 / £30.88 / £35.64 per hour
- PAYE rates: From £20.05 to £30.07 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Location: Sewage Treatment Works, Beckton
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 17:00 (9-hour shifts)
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with required site tasks
- Carry out installation support and labouring duties
- Handle electrical materials and equipment
- Follow all health and safety regulations on site
- Operate equipment and tools safely as directed
- Complete tasks in line with project deadlines
- ECS Card
- IPAF qualification
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Mate
- Ability to work in compliance with safety standards
- Experience on similar water treatment or utility projects
- Knowledge of working in confined or specialised environments
- Weekly pay
- PAYE and Umbrella payment options
- Opportunity for potential extension beyond initial 4 weeks
