Electro Mechanical Assembler

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (DOE)

Our client is a long-established manufacturer supplying specialist technical equipment to customers worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join their production team on a permanent basis.

Working within a hands-on production environment, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and soldering electronic and electro-mechanical products to detailed specifications. This role would suit someone with a strong assembly background who can work independently and maintain high-quality standards.

• Assemble electro-mechanical products and sub-assemblies.

• Carry out soldering, wiring, crimping, and cable assembly.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

• Use hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively.

• Inspect completed assemblies and report any faults or quality issues.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

• Previous experience in electro-mechanical or electronics assembly.

• Strong soldering and wiring skills.

• Ability to read technical drawings and circuit diagrams.

• Experience using hand tools and production equipment.

• IPC certification or knowledge of IPC standards would be advantageous.
