As an Electro/Mechanical Assembler, your responsibilities will include:
- Hand solder, test and assemble subassemblies within a production cell
- Issue and complete work orders while keeping stock accuracy on point
- Work to assembly drawings and procedures to a consistently high standard
- Set up and operate production machinery safely
- Carry out mechanical and electrical testing on subassemblies and finished products
- Support continual process improvement and cross-training across the workshop
As an Electro/Mechanical Assembler, your experience will include:
- Experience working in an electronics or manufacturing environment is useful but not essential
- Previous hand soldering experience is beneficial
- Comfortable working to detailed drawings and procedures
- Good manual dexterity and a genuine eye for detail
- A reliable, hands-on approach with a willingness to get stuck in and learn
