Electro Panel Operative

Royde & Tucker are currently looking for a Temporary Electro Panel Operative to join their manufacturing team based in Hitchin.

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour

Hours: 39 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm

• Weekly pay
• Free on-site parking
• Early finish every Friday
• Immediate start available

As an Electro Panel Operative, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, ensuring products are produced to a high standard while following all quality and safety procedures.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing metal components for processing
• Loading and unloading components throughout the production process
• Working safely with chemicals and following COSHH procedures at all times
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products
• Cleaning, packing and preparing products for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
• Experience working with chemicals or within a finishing, plating or industrial environment is advantageous
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling is desirable
• Good attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
