Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience, with various levels available.

Russell Taylor is partnering with a global advanced materials organisation seeking two Electrolysis Specialists as the business enters a significant period of investment and expansion. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation during an exciting phase of growth.
The Role:
• Develop and optimise high-temperature electrochemical processes.
• Establish operating conditions to improve process stability, productivity, efficiency and quality.
• Investigate the impact of process chemistry, feed characteristics, impurities, temperature and other variables on performance.
• Analyse process data and lead trials, investigations and continuous-improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues using structured root-cause analysis.
• Support improvements to cells, electrodes, feeding systems, instrumentation and process controls.
• Help transfer new processes from development and pilot stages into industrial production.
• Work closely with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, maintenance and HSE teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide input to equipment suppliers and engineering partners.
The Person:
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Process Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline.
• Industrial experience in electrolysis, electrochemical processing or high-temperature process environments.
• Experience operating, developing, optimising or troubleshooting industrial electrolysis equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrochemical processes and electrolyte systems.
• Experience improving efficiency, productivity, stability, quality or energy performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working across R&D, engineering and manufacturing environments.
• Experience taking processes from development or pilot stage through to industrial implementation.
Desirable:
• Experience with high-temperature electrochemical process development.
• Experience in process scale-up, industrial trials, commissioning or technology transfer.
• Industrial R&D or continuous-improvement experience.
• Experience working with equipment suppliers or engineering contractors.
