Electromechanical Field Service Engineer

Location: Manchester / North West
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000 basic

An established global manufacturer of industrial coding, marking and product identification equipment is looking for a Field Service Engineer to support customers across the North of England.

This is a home-based field role working on electromechanical equipment within manufacturing and production environments, covering installation, commissioning, servicing, maintenance and breakdown support.

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot electromechanical equipment at customer sites

• Install and commission new machinery and systems

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults

• Manage breakdowns through from diagnosis to resolution

• Provide technical support and build strong customer relationships

• Support equipment trials and demonstrations where required

• Travel across the North of England, with occasional overnight stays

• Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer background

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills

• Experience working on industrial, manufacturing or production equipment

• Comfortable working independently in a customer-facing field role

• Full UK driving licence

• Experience with coding, marking, printing, labelling or laser systems

• £38,000 - £42,000 basic salary
