We’re on the lookout for candidates with electronics/PCB testing experience to join one of London’s leading organisations within public transport, critical to ensuring the safe and reliable commute of thousands of the capital’s workforce. 

You’ll be working in a small workshop team alongside other technicians and the service manager; a relatively new team which has already saved the company millions in repair. You’ll repair numerous types of automotive electronic products and tools, often required to complete component and /or chip replacement and circuit board repair, test and build. Some of the role will also involve ultra-cleaning to get parts back to required standards, as well as occasional field based technical support.

Technical Expectations: Soldering and rework at board/component level, fault-finding with testing equipment, effective component identification

What are we looking for?
  • Previous electronics/PCB testing experience with a technical proficiency in soldering, fault-finding and use of hand tools (multi-meters, oscilloscopes, generators etc
  • IPC-610 and J-STD-001 Certified/Qualified would be nice or have knowledge of
  • Personality: Eager to learn, good manual dexterity, and able to work independently
  • Nice to have: PCV/PSV or HGV Fault finding/diagnosis experience and 3D Modelling understanding
