Electronics Design Engineer in Aberystwyth, Ceredigion

Are you an Electronics Design Engineer with proven experience in PCB design, embedded systems and electronic hardware development?

This role offers the opportunity to join an expanding R&D team, based in Aberystwyth, where you will play a key role in the design, development, testing and manufacture of innovative electronic instruments, taking products from initial concept through to full production.

Key Responsibilities for this Electronics Design Engineer role in Aberystwyth, Wales:

• Design electronic schematics and PCB layouts, including circuit simulation and verification
• Build, test and debug prototype instruments incorporating analogue and digital electronics
• Support new product introduction, design for manufacture and transfer of products into production
• Develop testing, calibration and manufacturing processes while ensuring product quality and compliance

Requirements for this Electronics Design Engineer role based in Aberystwyth, Wales:

• Proven experience in electronics development, including PCB design and layout
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, ARM-based microcontrollers and communication protocols
• Experience with electronic testing, prototype debugging and EMC compliance (Altium Designer and HDI PCB design desirable)
