The Opportunity

As an Electronics Engineer, you’ll join a collaborative, cross-functional Systems Integrated Product Team, working alongside mechanical, systems and software engineers to deliver fully integrated solutions.

You’ll play a key role in developing electronic design solutions that meet strict regulatory, customer and internal standards, contributing across the full product lifecycle from concept through to implementation and verification. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of aerospace programmes, where no two projects are the same. You’ll gain exposure to broader systems engineering while operating within a highly engaged and supportive team environment.

This role is based at the Denham site, with hybrid working considered following the probation period (6 months). 

What You’ll Do

•    Develop electronic design solutions that meet customer, regulatory and internal standards. 

•    Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including schematics, PCB layouts and engineering reports. 

•    Design, prototype and test electronic hardware to support product development and delivery. 

•    Review peer designs, identify issues and contribute to continuous improvement in design quality. 

•    Plan and manage workload effectively, providing accurate task estimates and progress updates. 

•    Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and support verification, analysis and testing to ensure designs meet programme and certification requirements.

What We’re Looking For

•    Strong understanding of modern electronics and electronic design principles. 

•    Experience using schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium or OrCAD (essential). 

•    Ability to develop electronic design solutions aligned to strict regulatory or industry standards. 

•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and develop solutions. 

•    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare and review technical documentation. 

•    Good time management and ability to manage multiple workstreams across programmes. 

•    A proactive, curious mindset with a willingness to learn, improve and take ownership of work. 

•    Experience in aerospace, defence or other highly regulated industries (desirable).

•    Degree in Electronic Engineering (or related discipline) and working towards professional membership (desirable).
