You'll ideally bring:
- A degree or higher qualification in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial experience designing complex electronic hardware and multi-layer PCB assemblies.
- Excellent knowledge of digital and analogue electronics, power circuitry and mixed-signal design principles.
- Proven experience using Altium Designer for both schematic capture and PCB layout.
- A solid understanding of product development from concept through prototype, testing and production.
- Practical experience using oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other electronic test equipment for debugging and verification.
- The confidence to make informed engineering decisions while balancing performance, cost, manufacturability and reliability.
Additional Experience That Would Be Beneficial
While not essential, experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
- FPGA development and programmable logic design.
- Python or C programming for engineering tools, automation or test development.
- EMC design, compliance testing or environmental qualification.
- Reliability engineering, DFMEA or Design for Manufacture (DFM).
Why Apply?
This role offers the chance to work on technically advanced products within a cooperative engineering environment where your ideas and expertise will have genuine influence.
You'll benefit from:
- Interesting and varied hardware development projects.
- A high degree of technical ownership and autonomy.
