RecruitAbility are looking for a practical, hands-on Electronics Technician (hardware) to join our well-established client near Bishops Stortford.
This is a varied role within a busy workshop environment and would suit someone who has some previous electrical or electronics experience and enjoys working practically rather than sitting behind a desk.
You could currently be working as an Electronics Assembler, Technician, Service/Field Engineer or within a similar hands-on role. - Complete the relevant paperwork and work with other departments to highlight any recurring product or quality issues.
- Work as part of the wider workshop and production team to ensure products are completed accurately and to a high standard.
- Previous hands-on experience within an electrical, electronics, assembly, engineering or similar practical role.
- Comfortable using tools and ideally have some experience of testing, fault-finding or soldering.
- Able to follow technical drawings or instructions - full product training will be given.
- Practical, methodical and naturally interested in finding out how and why things work.
- Good attention to detail, basic IT skills and happy working as part of a team.
