Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Email Marketing & Digital Marketing Executive to join our team in Reigate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience in email marketing and lead generation who wants to play a key role in a growing business.
The Role
This role will focus primarily on email marketing and lead generation.
You will be responsible for creating, managing and optimising both outbound B2B email campaigns to generate new business opportunities and email campaigns to our existing client base to increase engagement, promote services and strengthen client relationships.
The successful candidate will take ownership of our email marketing activities whilst also supporting wider digital marketing initiatives, assisting the sales team and helping convert marketing activity into new business opportunities. You will be reporting into the Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build and manage outbound B2B email marketing campaigns to generate new business enquiries.
- Create and manage email campaigns for our existing client base, including newsletters, service updates and promotional campaigns.
- Write compelling email copy that drives engagement and conversions.
- Build and maintain prospect databases and email lists.
- Manage email marketing platforms and CRM integrations.
- Monitor and improve campaign performance including open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
- Ensure campaigns comply with GDPR and email marketing best practices.
- Conduct targeted outbound calls to prospective clients generated through marketing campaigns.
- Handle inbound enquiries from prospective clients and direct them appropriately.
- Assist the sales team with lead generation, prospect research and appointment setting.
- Support follow-up activity with prospects who have engaged with marketing campaigns.
- Assist with SEO initiatives and website content updates.
- Support LinkedIn and other social media marketing activities.
- Produce reports on campaign performance and marketing activity.
- Research and implement new marketing opportunities to support business growth.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a digital marketing role.
- Proven experience managing email marketing campaigns.
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and decision-makers over the phone.
- Strong copywriting and written communication skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and marketing software.
Desirable Skills
Experience using platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, Instantly, Smartlead, Apollo, Lemlist or similar.
Experience in a lead generation, sales support or business development role.
SEO knowledge and website optimisation experience.
Experience managing LinkedIn marketing campaigns.
Experience using CRM systems.
