Embedded Software Engineer | £55-70k DOE + bonus | Cambridge

My client is one of the fastest growing companies in Europe, servicing some of the most advanced markets in the world.

They have an attractive growth trajectory, and a diverse portfolio of future-proof products. As a result of continued success, they are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in developing scalable software architecture, and make design decisions
  • Take ownership of software models, developing software in C in an embedded Linux environment
  • Interpret hardware schematics and contribute to hardware-software integration

Requirements:

  • Strong experience developing ARM Cortex MCUs in C within an embedded Linux environment
  • Experience with the Linux boot process, Kernel drivers, and writing userspace applications
  • Experience working on hardware protocols

Bonus skills:

  • Knowledge of Linux build systems like Yocto
