What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain embedded software for prototype and production systems
- Work across requirements, software architecture, detailed design, implementation, unit testing, integration and validation
- Develop high-quality embedded C software for real-time applications
- Perform software validation through simulation, on-target testing, bench testing, HIL and within the final system
- Work closely with system and hardware engineering teams across the wider organisation
- Ensure software development adheres to quality, safety, security and cybersecurity processes
You'll bring:
- Strong C programming skills for safety-critical embedded applications
- Experience with 32-bit CPUs, FPUs, interrupts and peripherals
- Strong understanding of real-time embedded programming
- Understanding of compilers, linkers, Makefiles and software build processes
