Emergency Veterinarian

Vet Finders

Emergency Veterinarian | Help Build Something Special from Day One | Mandurah, Western Australia. From $120k - $190k DOE.

Let’s face it, you're not scrolling job sites because you're desperate for work.

You're looking for the right opportunity. Most veterinary jobs ask you to join an established team. This one gives you the chance to be in there from the start to help build something exceptional.

Welcome to Mandurah Veterinary hospital.

They’re a brand-new, independently owned emergency hospital built by vets who believe you can deliver outstanding emergency medicine without the corporate politics, endless KPIs or feeling like you're just another name on a roster.

They’re starting with a blank page, which means every person who joins now gets the chance to influence how this hospital grows, how the team works together and the kind of culture they’re known for.

If you've ever thought, "If I opened my own emergency clinic, this is how I'd do it," you'll probably feel right at home.

Why you'll enjoy working there.

  • Brand-new, purpose-built emergency hospital with all the equipment you'd expect (and a few toys you'll definitely enjoy using)
  • Vet owned and genuinely independent.
  • Emergency-only caseload. No routine GP appointments.
  • Full-time, part-time, they will build the role around you.
  • Quarterly profit share for permanent team members.
  • Five weeks annual leave.
  • Accommodation available. You can watch the dolphins go by from your window on the canal in the heart of Mandurah, less than 5 mins from work!
  • Visa sponsorship available for overseas veterinarians.
  • Opportunities to work across their sister emergency hospital in Fremantle if you'd like some variety.

Who they are hoping to meet.

You'll have at least a couple of years' experience as a veterinarian and be someone who enjoys thinking on your feet, making good clinical decisions and working as part of a supportive team.

Emergency experience is fantastic, but if you're an experienced GP ready to make the move, they'd love to talk.

What matters most is that you're someone people enjoy working with. We believe great hospitals are built by good humans first and great clinicians second.

They work hard, back each other up, celebrate the wins, laugh when they can, and leave the egos at the door. Emergency medicine is challenging enough without making work harder than it needs to be.

Why Mandurah?

Less than an hour south of Perth, Mandurah gives you the lifestyle most people move to Western Australia for. Think stunning beaches, waterfront cafés, world-class fishing, boating, paddleboarding and some of the state's best sunsets all without the traffic.

Spend your days off exploring national parks, spotting wild dolphins in the estuary, or simply enjoying a coffee by the marina. It's the perfect place to build a rewarding career without sacrificing the life you want outside of work.

So, what’s next?

If you're looking for another emergency job, there are plenty around.

But, if you're looking for a veterinary role where the work is rewarding, the team is supportive, and the lifestyle is genuinely exceptional, they'd love to tell you more. After all, the best career moves often start with a simple conversation.

Send your CV (even if it’s not up to date) or reach out with any questions.  They want to know the person, not just the paperwork.

Join them at the beginning of their journey, and help create an emergency hospital you'll be proud to say you helped build.
