Essential Skills Tutor

Location: Cardiff & Barry Salary:

£25,700–£27,300 | Full-time, permanent | Mon–Fri 09:00–16:30

• Make a real difference helping learners gain Essential Skills
• Delivering (literacy, numeracy, digital).
• Deliver workshops,
• One-to-one support, and
• Invigilate assessments to ensure timely, quality achievement.

You bring:

• Experience with young people or enthusiasm to support them
• Engaging, inspiring delivery style
• Experience of Work Based Learning and Award Body practices
• Experience of delivering Essential Skills Qualifications up to Level 2
• Have a teaching qualification or
• Willingness to work toward CAVA / Level 3 assessor qualification (or equivalent)
• DBS clearance and EWC registration (employer covers DBS)
• Full driving licence and use of own car
