Assembly Technician

Assembly  Technician - Full Training given
Location: Pulborough
  
You'll be responsible for assembling electro mechanical products through encapsulation processes.
  
Main Objective

• Responsible for the assembly of electro mechanical products including the encapsulation process.
• Carry out all aspects of mechanical assembly work as part of the Encapsulation process including pouring, sealing, priming and conformal coating of assemblies.
• Carrying out routine checks, maintenance and cleaning of encapsulation machines, compressor, vacuum pump, maintenance and filter change of spray booth equipment all in accordance with procedures.
• Planning, progressing and co-ordinating workload in accordance with production schedule and other internal customers, such as repair and design departments.
• Raising production paperwork including non-compliance/rework records and stores requisitions in accordance with company processes.
• Ensuring all quality procedures for build and workmanship standards and ESD requirements are implemented.
• Maintaining and improving housekeeping and cleanliness of work area.
• Working on own initiative reading BOM’s and drawings etc.
• Engagement in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Responsibility for adhering to the Company’s Quality ISO9001 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental Management system requirements and the Health and Safety Management System.

  
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• High voltage assembly techniques.
• Electronic component recognition.
• Understanding of mechanical assembly procedures and processes.
• Appreciation of modern manufacturing techniques.
• Good communication skills.
