We're recruiting for an experienced Energy Marshall to join one of Europe's leading data centre contractors on a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Milan.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the safe management of electrical energy isolation across the project, working alongside construction, commissioning and operations teams on one of Europe's most technically advanced mission-critical developments.

As the Energy Marshall, you will take ownership of the site's Energy Isolation (LOTO) programme, ensuring all energisation activities are planned, coordinated and executed safely in line with project procedures and industry best practice.

Working closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Commissioning and EHS teams, you'll be responsible for managing permits, auditing energy isolation procedures and supporting the safe energisation of critical electrical infrastructure from MV through to final LV distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the site's Energy Isolation (LOTO) programme.
• Coordinate all MEP energisation activities across the project.
• Review RAMS, permits, Job Hazard Analysis and switching procedures.
• Ensure safe testing, commissioning and energisation of electrical systems.
• Manage Permit to Work and LOTO processes.
• Chair weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and the client.
• Support commissioning teams during testing and handover.
• Manage electrical infrastructure from 20kV systems through to final LV circuits.
• Carry out audits to ensure compliance with project safety procedures.
• Deliver Energy Isolation training to site personnel.
• Work closely with EHS teams to maintain the highest safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Energy Marshall, Authorised Person (AP), Senior Authorised Person (SAP) or Electrical Commissioning Engineer.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Rules and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).
• Experience managing MV/LV electrical systems.
• Background in Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Power Generation or other mission-critical environments.
• Experience supporting commissioning and energisation activities.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong focus on Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
