Do you enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges and seeing projects come to life from concept through to completion? Are you an Engineer who thrives on coordinating utility provision, managing stakeholders, and keeping developments moving safely, efficiently, and on programme?
We are looking for a proactive and driven Engineer to join our Technical department and play a key role in delivering high-quality residential developments across the region.
The role:
As Engineer, you will take ownership of matters from early feasibility stages through to onsite delivery and completion.
You will be at the centre of the development process, coordinating technical information, managing providers, supporting site teams and other departments, and ensuring infrastructure is delivered in line with programme, budget, planning approvals, and technical standards.
Manage infrastructure for residential developments from feasibility through to site delivery
Coordinate and secure all technical information, approvals, quotations, agreements, and onsite service connections
Liaise with utility providers, consultants, local authorities, highways, environmental agencies, and warranty providers
Support the appointment and management of providers and external consultants
Review legal agreements, easements, and utility-related documentation alongside external legal teams
Attend pre-start meetings, site meetings, and project reviews to support delivery and programme performance, these are carried out weekly
Ensure technical drawings and information are distributed accurately and on time across Construction, Commercial, and Sales teams
Provide ongoing technical support and practical problem-solving across departments
Assist with feasibility studies and advise on utility budget costs during early project stages
Support compliance with CDM Regulations and contribute to safe, effective project delivery
About you:
Experience managing provision within residential housing or construction developments
Knowledge of utility companies, industry procedures, legislation, and regulatory frameworks
Understanding of CDM Regulations
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Excellent organisation and coordination abilities
A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
The ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong working relationships
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
