Our client is a specialist precision engineering manufacturer looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join their growing team. The Role

Working as part of the production team, you'll assemble high-precision mechanical products to exact specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring accuracy, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

Duties include:

  • Mechanical assembly of precision components and sub-assemblies
  • Using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
  • Working from engineering drawings, assembly instructions and technical documentation
  • Measuring and checking components to ensure they meet required dimensions and tolerances
  • Inspecting finished products to company quality standards
  • Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area
  • Reporting any quality, tooling or equipment issues
  • Supporting production targets while maintaining high standards of workmanship

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys practical work and wants to build a long-term career in engineering manufacturing.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, production, assembly or mechanical environments
  • Good mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
  • The ability to read measurements and work accurately to dimensions and tolerances
  • Experience following technical instructions, engineering drawings or assembly procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
