A growing specialist ground investigation contractor is looking for an experienced Engineering Geologist to join their South West team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ experience who is confident in rock logging and wants to work on diverse and geologically interesting projects across coastal and inland sites.

The Role

• Carrying out and supervising ground investigation works
• Detailed soil and rock logging (essential)
• Working on coastal, infrastructure, and development sites
• Supporting drilling teams and site operations
• Sampling, field testing, and recording ground conditions
• Producing accurate factual site records
• Ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works on site

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in engineering geology / ground investigation
• Strong and confident rock logging experience is essential
• Background in site-based contractor work preferred
• Interest in varied geology and field-based work
• Full UK driving licence
• Hands-on, practical, and reliable approach
