We're recruiting for an Engineering Lead to oversee engineering operations at a prestigious banking facility in Central London. This high-profile 3-month interim assignment offers the opportunity to lead a mission-critical environment, providing technical leadership, operational oversight, and client engagement during a key transitional period.
Working for a leading Facilities Management provider, you'll play a vital role in maintaining service continuity, driving compliance, and ensuring exceptional engineering performance across a complex and highly regulated site.
The Role
As Engineering Lead, you will:
- Provide leadership across a critical banking environment, ensuring safe and effective service delivery.
- Lead and support the onsite engineering team, driving performance, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Act as the primary engineering contact for the client, building strong stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee permit-to-work systems, risk management processes, and engineering governance.
- Support incident management, audits, and performance improvement initiatives to ensure KPIs and SLAs are achieved.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership role within Facilities Management or critical environments.
- Strong experience within banking, financial services, data centres, or other mission-critical facilities.
- Demonstrable success managing engineering teams within live operational environments.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant Electrical or Mechanical Engineering qualifications and a strong understanding of compliance and engineering governance.
