Engineering Lecturer

We are seeking a Teacher of Engineering to join its growing department. We have opportunities across Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Computer Engineering. 

You’ll deliver engaging lessons across BTEC, T Level and/or A Level programmes, combining academic learning with real-world application in a highly industry-focused environment. This role is ideal for educators passionate about preparing students for careers in engineering through practical, hands-on learning. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging engineering lessons 
  • Support student progress, attainment, and outcomes 
  • Contribute to curriculum development and project-based learning 
  • Use assessment data to inform teaching and support learners 
  • Create an inclusive, safe, and motivating classroom environment 
  • Participate in wider college activities, employer engagement, and enrichment 

Requirements 

  • Degree in Engineering (or related field) 
  • Teaching qualification (PGCE or working towards) 
  • Experience teaching 16–18 learners (BTEC/T Level desirable) 
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for technical education 
  • Ability to inspire and support students of all abilities
