Are you a self starting, motivated Manufacturing Manager, Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, or Head of Engineering with a strong background in communications technologies, satellite engineering, communications product design and manufacture or similar, who is looking to join a global organisation that produces cutting edge technologies for a variety of technical sectors, where you can shape and mould the engineering processes of the business while bringing new products from concept through to manufacture and distribution?

You will be responsible for leading and developing the site engineering function, support safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth objectives while driving a culture of continuous improvement across the function. You will also help to develop the companies engineering strategy, be the site technical authority for satellite and communication processes and industrialisation, drive manufacturing cost reduction, all whilst leading a talented and diverse technical engineering team.

The Role:

• Engineering Manager (Satellites/ Communications)
• Leading, developing, and coordinating a multidisciplined engineering team delivering communication and connectivity solutions
• Collaborate with other Technical Teams
• Provide technical leadership, resource planning, mentoring, performance management, and project coordination

The Person:

• Provide technical governance and oversight to engineering projects and operational activities.
• Broad understanding of communications and networking technologies
• Experience managing teams supporting satellite communication systems.
• Site based, Commutable from Hereford, Rosson-Wye, Abergavenny, Ledbury, Coleford, Leominster and surrounding areas
