An Engineering Supervisor - Electrical Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising planned and reactive maintenance activities
  • Leading and supporting a team of engineering staff
  • Managing maintenance schedules and work allocation
  • Maintaining compliance through CAFM systems and statutory inspections
  • Acting as an Authorised Person and Competent Person where appointed
  • Supporting fault finding, breakdown response, and emergency situations
  • Managing contractors and service providers on site
  • Delivering toolbox talks and supporting team development
  • Ensuring safe systems of work, permit-to-work processes, and health & safety compliance
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the university estate

Profile

A successful Engineering Supervisor - Electrical should have:

  • Recognised electrical qualification including 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, Electrical Apprenticeship, AM2, or equivalent
  • Minimum three years' relevant electrical engineering experience
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience supervising engineering or maintenance teams
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Offer

  • Salary ranging from £45,000 to £52,500, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Additional benefits package included.
  • Permanent position based in London.
