As an Engineering Supervisor (Electrical Bias), you will lead a team of 8 maintenance engineers within a busy recycling facility, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant equipment. You will oversee planned and reactive maintenance, drive continuous improvement activities, and maximise plant uptime across a 4-on-4-off day shift pattern.

Description
- Lead and supervise a team of 8 maintenance engineers.
- Coordinate planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown activities.
- Ensure maximum plant availability and equipment reliability.
- Provide hands-on electrical fault finding and technical support.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with site Health & Safety procedures.
- Monitor engineering KPIs and maintenance performance.
- Manage contractors and specialist service providers on site.
- Support project work, installations, and equipment upgrades.
- Work closely with operations to optimise production performance.
- Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and training activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records through the CMMS system.
Profile
A successful Engineering Supervisor should have:
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations within engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to plan and prioritise maintenance tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
