As an English Supply Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and purposeful English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with some Key Stage 5 opportunities available
• Follow existing lesson plans and schemes of work, ensuring continuity of learning
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support students in developing their reading, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of different learners, including students with SEND and EAL needs
• Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement, and achievement
• Build positive relationships with students and school staff
• Provide feedback to relevant teaching staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and engagement
• Quickly settle into different school environments and become a confident member of the wider school team

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
• Has strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature
• Is confident delivering lessons independently across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Has strong classroom management skills and the ability to establish positive relationships quickly
• Is adaptable, reliable, and confident working across different school environments
• Can follow pre-planned lessons while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
• Is passionate about helping students achieve their potential
• Could be an experienced teacher, ECT, or teacher looking for greater flexibility in their working life
