As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging English Language and English Literature lessons across KS3, KS4 and, where applicable, KS5.
• Inspire students to develop a love of reading, writing and critical analysis.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that support excellent academic progress.
• Assess, monitor and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every learner can succeed.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school where appropriate.

We are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English within UK secondary schools.
• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
