Are you an English Teacher with QTS looking for a role where your teaching can have a real impact?

We are working with a welcoming Alternative Provision in Southampton that is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team from September. The role offers the opportunity to work with students aged 11+ who may have struggled in mainstream education and benefit from a more individualised approach.

You'll be delivering English across a range of abilities, helping students improve their literacy while also building confidence, motivation and engagement with learning.

The school offers small groups, high staff ratios and a personalised curriculum designed around each student's needs and future aspirations.

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS and has a relevant English teaching background

• Has strong subject knowledge and can deliver engaging lessons

• Is confident managing challenging behaviour

• Can adapt their teaching to individual students

• Builds positive and trusting relationships with young people

• Is patient, resilient and passionate about supporting students to succeed

This is a full-time position starting in September, with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Paid to scale | Full-time | September start | Temp-to-perm potential
