Pay: £175–£260 per day
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Supply Desk is working with a well-established secondary school in Southampton seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join the department ASAP.

You’ll teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4 within a supportive school that places high expectations, strong relationships and student progress at the heart of its approach.

The role:

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons
• Monitor and assess student progress
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
• Support students of varying abilities
• Work collaboratively within the English department
• Contribute to the wider life of the school

We're looking for:

• QTS or equivalent
• Strong English subject knowledge
• Secondary teaching experience
• Excellent classroom management
• A passion for English and raising attainment
• Ability to engage and motivate young people
• Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
