• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured Maths lessons across the secondary age range.
• Adapt teaching and learning to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Maintain high expectations of student achievement, behaviour, and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Use a range of teaching strategies to make Maths accessible, engaging, and challenging.
• Establish positive relationships with students and promote a supportive classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider Maths department and school community.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to assessment and reporting processes.
• Support students in developing confidence, problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification is desirable.
• A strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school setting is desirable.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
