This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and creating engaging activities that help students build confidence, resilience and life skills.
The Role:
- You'll plan and deliver a varied programme of enrichment activities and events, promote student wellbeing and engagement, support attendance and progression, and work closely with pastoral and curriculum teams to create a positive, inclusive college environment. You'll also maintain accurate student records, support safeguarding procedures and encourage students to make the most of college life.
- Experience working with young people in an education, youth work or community setting.
- A genuine passion for supporting students' personal development, wellbeing and progression.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience using student databases or record systems.
- An understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
- A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards achieving it).
- The ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
