About the Role:
Our client is looking for Environmental Advisors and Environmental Clerks of Works (EnvCoW) to support the delivery of flood risk, infrastructure and energy projects across the UK.
The role will focus on environmental compliance throughout the construction lifecycle, including site inspections, audits, reporting and providing practical advice to project teams to ensure compliance with legislation, permits, planning conditions and mitigation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and report on environmental compliance across construction projects.
- Carry out site inspections, environmental audits and compliance checks.
- Review environmental documentation, site management plans and method statements.
- Provide practical environmental advice to project managers, contractors and site teams.
- Ensure projects meet environmental legislation, permits and planning requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, site records, briefings and environmental documentation.
- Liaise with clients, regulators, contractors and stakeholders.
- Support tenders and mentor junior team members.
What Our Client is Looking For:
- Experience in environmental compliance, construction environmental management, EnvCoW, ECoW or environmental consultancy.
- Knowledge of UK environmental legislation, permits and planning requirements.
- Experience undertaking site inspections, audits or compliance monitoring.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work with contractors, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience within flood risk, infrastructure, water, utilities, energy or civil engineering projects is desirable.
