Our client, a leading organisation in the utilities sector, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Environmental Compliance Technician to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely completion of Environmental Hygiene Cleaning Contracts to high standards and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct essential cleaning tasks, including:
- General Ventilation Cleaning
- Water Tank Cleaning, Coating & Refurbishment
- Kitchen Extract Fire Safety Cleaning
- Uphold a 100% attendance record and minimise aborted calls.
- Maintain a safe working environment, aiming for zero RIDDOR incidents and vehicle accidents when driving.
Job Specific Functions:
- Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations, ensuring compliance on-site and at the depot.
- Deliver work according to established standards and specifications, utilising training and skills effectively.
- Represent the organisation professionally while on-site and assist in training new operatives under the guidance of the Compliance Supervisor.
- Ensure that all specialised equipment is maintained and report any issues for prompt resolution.
- Follow the Company Code of Conduct consistently in all duties.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Flexibility with working hours, including days, evenings, nights, and occasional weekends.
- A commitment to the organisation's values of Honesty, Ownership, and Respect.
- Attention to detail to ensure a safe, clean, and secure site.
Training and Development:
- On-the-job training, including internal and external courses.
- Health and Safety Training as needed.
- BESA Grease Hygiene Technician Training.
Quality & Environmental Responsibilities:
- Follow company procedures and ensure a high-quality service for all customers.
- Familiarise with and comply with the Company's Environmental Policy.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
- Comply with all relevant sections of the Company Health and Safety Policy.
