Environmental Protection Officer

Working Pattern - Hybrid (Depending on what work is required),

1+ weekly site visits

We require x3 contractors for a 6-month period.

You must be mobile / have access to a car to attend business meetings at other sites / locations within the district on a regular basis. Ability to work regularly outside normal office hours, including at weekends and at night.

We are ideally seeking:

x2 Environmental Protection Officers

x1 Environmental Protection Officer  with strong line management experience  We are happy to review any available applicants but in an ideal world we need to have experience across all of them to meet - animal licensing, planning, noise, waste crime, NSIPs & contaminated land.

Essential - Degree or equivalent Level 6 qualification in Environmental Health or an Environmental Protection related subject

Awareness and detailed knowledge of - PACE 1984; - CPIA 1996; - RIPA 2000; - Human Rights Act 1998; - Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974; - General Data Protection Regulation 2016; - FOI 2000 - EIR 2004 - equality, diversity and inclusion; - Safeguarding;
