Environmental & Sustainability Specialist

MTEC are currently recruiting for an Environmental & Sustainability Specialist to drive environmental best practice, compliance and sustainability initiatives for a global manufacturer located in the midlands.

Key Responsibilities

*Develop and maintain environmental (14001) & sustainability management systems.

*Support ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 audits and compliance activities.

*Lead energy, transport, materials and waste reduction initiatives.

*Manage energy improvements, KPIs and sustainability reporting.

*Drive Environmental & Sustainability Committee meetings and action plans.

*Ensure compliance with legislation, standards and customer requirements.

*Support the HSE Manager with policies, documentation and technical activities.

About You

*Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

*Background in Environmental, Sustainability or HSES roles.

*Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.

*Strong document management, auditing and reporting skills.

*Relevant environmental, engineering, H&S qualification or equivalent experience.
