Job Title: Essential Skills Tutor
Location: South Wales - Centre based, with occasional travel
Salary: up to £27,300 (Depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties:
- Delivery of Essential Skills (Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy) through group based and 1:1 sessions, ensuring all learners meet Framework requirements.
- Register and invigilate assessments in-line with awarding body standards and procedures.
- Plan, deliver, assess, and mark learning activities, contributing to standardisation and quality assurance processes.
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance in line with internal and external quality assurance requirements.
- Accurately maintain learner records, documentation, and evidence of achievement, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Support the monitoring and achievement of individual, team, and organisational performance targets.
- Experience of delivering Essential Skills qualifications.
- Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train learners.
- Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
- Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
