Estate Services Operative (Cleaning)

Location: Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire
Contract: Temporary, Part Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week
Shift: 7:00am-12:00pm or 8:00am-1:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.92 per hour
Contract Dates: 24 August 2026 to 15 November 2026
DBS: Basic DBS required

Our client is looking for an Estate Services Operative to provide cleaning and estate services across two sites in Shipston-on-Stour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean communal areas to a high standard, including lifts, stairwells, floors, walls and windows.

• Keep refuse areas clean, tidy and safe.

• Carry out litter picking and remove bulk rubbish and fly tipping.

• Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and in line with health and safety requirements.

• Use PPE and cleaning machinery correctly and report any faults or incidents.

• Follow risk assessments, COSHH requirements and other health and safety procedures.

• Assist with tasks such as snow clearance, gritting and minor repairs in communal areas when required.

• Manage and report cleaning materials and equipment.

• Use scheduling software to record daily activities.

• Carry out other reasonable duties as directed.

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a cleaning, estate services or similar role.

• Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment.

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.

• Physically able to carry out manual duties.

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

• Basic DBS required.

Desirable:

• NVQ or equivalent qualification in Cleaning or Environmental Services.

• Willingness to obtain a relevant qualification during the assignment.

This is a hands-on role and would suit someone who is reliable, practical and comfortable working across different sites.
