You'll carry out site audits, support estates compliance and maintain key documentation across maintenance, minor works, capital and RAAC activity. Strong knowledge of healthcare technical standards and statutory compliance is essential.
The Role
As the Estates & Facilities Consultant, you'll:
- Conduct site audits covering maintenance quality, minor works and health and safety.
- Support RAMS documentation across estates, capital and RAAC works.
- Review and develop compliance policies, procedures and emergency plans.
- Audit estates documentation against HTMs, HBNs, CQC and BSEN requirements.
- Maintain statutory certificates, insurance documentation and other compliance evidence.
- Track remedial actions, maintain updates and escalate outstanding issues where required.
- Analyse compliance data and prepare concise reports for senior management.
To be successful as the Estates & Facilities Consultant, you'll have:
- Proven estates and facilities auditing experience within healthcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of HTMs, HBNs, CQC, BSEN and statutory requirements.
- Experience preparing or managing RAMS and other compliance documentation.
- Strong record-keeping skills with experience maintaining statutory compliance evidence.
- Ability to analyse compliance data and produce clear management reports.
- Experience with RAAC or capital works compliance would be advantageous.
- £300–£400 per day.
- Initial three-month contract with potential for extension.
- Potential opportunity to move into a permanent position.
- Predominantly home-based working with travel across regional healthcare sites.
- Varied remit covering estates audits, compliance, minor works and RAAC activity.
