The Role

As a Bodyshop Estimator / Workshop Controller, you'll be responsible for managing the customer journey from estimate through to vehicle handover, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, profitably and to the highest possible standard. You'll oversee a small team of experienced Bodyshop Technicians while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and workshop performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers, providing a professional and friendly experience.
  • Produce accurate repair estimates and manage repair schedules.
  • Oversee the daily operation of the bodyshop and a team of skilled technicians.
  • Monitor repair quality, productivity and workshop efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, technicians and management throughout the repair process.
  • Manage quality control and ensure repairs meet manufacturer and customer expectations.
  • Work closely with the parts department to maintain an efficient workflow.
  • Drive profitability while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Promote a positive working culture and lead by example.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator, Workshop Controller or Vehicle Damage Assessor.
  • Extensive knowledge of the accident repair industry.
  • Strong estimating experience within a busy bodyshop.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to maximise workshop profitability.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • Ambitious individual looking to progress their career within a successful business.
