An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and friendly professional to join our team at Daniel Charles Construction Limited. We’re a privately-owned business with strong roots in Lincolnshire, known for delivering high-quality Civil Engineering projects across the region.
You’ll play an important role in helping us deliver a wide range of interesting and varied projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling multiple projects, including civil engineering, oversite and building works
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings to take off quantities
- Reviewing tender documents and preparing subcontractor and material enquiries
- Producing bills of quantities
- Risk and value management
- Preparing budgets, cost plans and estimates
- Working independently to deliver accurate, competitive tenders
- Applying your understanding of CDM Health & Safety, modern construction methods and contract requirements
We’re seeking someone who not only has the technical skills but also fits our team culture. You should bring:
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A methodical and organised approach
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- A positive team-working attitude
- Experience with Conquest Software (advantageous – training available)
- Experience within the Highways / Civil Engineering industry
